A City Ahead of its Time
Though the other Greek cities introduced the world to many new and remarkable inventions, Alexandria by far tops them all. The city produced everything from ways to use steam as a power source to methods of guiding ships coming from the sea into the harbor. You certainly cannot forget the revolutionary library more correctly referred to as the Museum of Alexandria that drew the world's best and brightest to the city.
